BY CAROLINE VAKIL – 06/10/22 Reviewers at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in briefing documents that Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine is both effective and safe for children under 6 years old. FDA Authorizes Pfizer Booster COVID Shot for Children Between the Ages of 5 and 11
Today (May 17, 2022), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) amended the emergency use authorization (EUA) and authorized a booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 shot for children 5 through 11 years of age.
