Target to Sell Trans-Friendly ‘Chest-Binders’ and ‘Packing Underwear’
‘This is child abuse, and anyone who denies it is enabling it…’
Target has announced that it will advertise for and sell trans-friendly underwear, the Post Millennial reported.
They will now carry what are called “chest binders”—that is, bras which conceal breasts in order to make women appear more masculine.
The binders have been marketed to those who consider themselves non-binary or transgender.
The big-box store has also run “pride month” promotions in the past, selling “My First Pride” baby clothes, as well as tie-dyed children’s T-shirts that say “Trans Rights Are Human Rights.”
Target also sells children’s attire which lists a smattering of various pronouns, preparing children for a life of political activism.
For example, children’s t-shirts read: “They Them Theirs” and “Gender Is Over If You Want It To Be.”
In order to prepare for such endeavors, Target has partnered with the clothing brand TomboyX, which is “a queer-founded brand dedicated to empowering our LGBTQ+ community year-round, and advocating for equal representation and celebration of all people,” according to its website.
Lastly, Target has recently introduced “packers,” which are underwear that give the appearance of male genitalia where it is not present.
“We are proud to design and manufacture thoughtful, beautifully-made products for all bodies and needs, of all sizes and across the gender spectrum,” said the website.
According to the site, “pride packing underwear in black inspires confidence.”
Target’s chief marketing manager, Rick Gomez, wrote in a press release that everyone should feel a sense of belonging no matter what, and that Target can fulfill that need, Big League Politics reported.
“At Target, we believe everyone deserves to feel like they belong, and our new gender-inclusive product collection is one way we are making that possible for our guests.”
Some conservatives, including pro-biology Daily Wire podcaster Matt Walsh, sought to put the latest woke marketing gimmick into perspective.
“This is child abuse, and anyone who denies it is enabling it,” he said via Twitter.
