This time, however, ex-TEPCO chair Tsunehisa Katsumata and former vice presidents Sakae Muto and Ichiro Takekuro were charged with professional negligence over allegedly failing to take measures to protect the plant, despite being aware of elevated tsunami risks.
160,000 people were permanently evacuated, massive amounts of radiation continue to be added to the Pacific Ocean daily and life on the entire planet is threatened by their negligence. A full investigation may be conducted for the first time now that the charges have been brought.
